How it works:
Julie will discuss over the phone and/or e-mail with you what you want to workshop and set a date/time. On the day of, Julie will shop for any necessary groceries and come to your home so that the two of you can cook together in your kitchen, with your own familiar cooking utensils. During your time together, you'll have Julie for all of your cooking and dietary questions as you work together on the specific cooking project of your choice; and she'll leave you with the recipes and special tips - plus the delicious food you prepare! Not sure exactly what's best for you to learn? Julie can help with that, too.
Julie specializes in teaching diet therapies such as the Low-FODMAP Diet, the Simple Carbohydrate Diet (SCD), the SIBO-Specific diet, GAPS, the Paleo diet and cooking gluten-free; as well as cooking for other diet protocols for conditions such as gallbladder disease and gallstones, inflammatory conditions and autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular health, and more.
Classes are scheduled for 2 and a half hours and can be with just you or up to one additional person (helpful if you have a friend or family member that is part of your support group)
$175 for a 2.5 hour class, plus the cost of groceries (Cost Includes phone consultation to determine class goals, menu and class preparation, recipes, and grocery shopping)
$495 for a package of three 2.5 hour classes, plus the cost of groceries (A savings of $10 per class for a total of $30 savings. (Includes phone consultation to determine class goals, menu/class preparation, recipes, and grocery shopping.) Purchasing a package can be helpful for building on your knowledge if you have several things you want to work on.
